Bath Croquet Academy Update

Recently Bath Croquet Academy had the pleasure of welcoming pupils from seven schools across the region, to participate in our ‘Introduction to Croquet’ programme.

The students, all keen to engage, enjoyed four days of intensive coaching in glorious sunshine. Each day they were involved in a variety of activities, with Bath coaches ensuring their progress was monitored to continually move them forward. The coaching culminated in our students successfully playing guided doubles and singles games, relishing the opportunity to use their new found skills of stop shots, clearances, ‘in offs’ and of course when all else failed the execution of a jump shot to gain a hoop point.

Such is the enthusiasm for playing Croquet at Bath that we now have an U18s weekly session, each Monday evening, and welcome further participants to join our thriving Junior Section.
