Directions to the Club
Walking – Bath Recreation Ground is located just off Great Pulteney Street and is approximately 15 minutes gentle walk away from the main Rail and Bus Stations. A good landmark to ask for is the Podium or Pulteney Bridge – the road leads towards Laura Place and then down Great Pulteney Street.
The club is located at the end of William Street (see map below) and you should walk through the main Recreation Ground gates and then immediately turn left. Alternatively you can enter the Recreation Ground via the river bank and walk past Bath Rugby.
Local Buses – There are a number of bus-stops located approximately 50 metres away from the entrance of the Recreation Ground. You can see a map with information on which local buses passby these stops below. (eg. 4/18/X5 etc.)

Car – It is easy to reach the Recreation Ground by car after arriving in Bath from the motorway. Follow the road signs into the centre but bear right at the Holburne Museum onto Great Pulteney Street. The Recreation Ground will be a left turning into William Street. You should drive straight through the main Recreation Ground gates and then immediately turn left. In front of you will be our parking area and the croquet courts.
If you are a visitor to the club then we can provide you with a temporary parking permit to allow you to park on Recreation Ground near to the club. We are allowed space for 18 cars which is generally sufficient. (It is important not to park anywhere else on the Recreation Ground without a permit otherwise you may run the risk of being clamped!)
