Lewis and Chang compete in Budleigh

Ian Lewis (5) and Eugene Chang (3) have recently completed the Budleigh August Week (South West of England Championship), held from 31 July – 6 August, both competing in a mixture of handicap and level-play events.

Ian had several impressive results, beating a fellow handicap 5 by +26, and the only player to defeat eventual B-class winner Nigel Betts.

Yours truly had a mixed tournament, the highlight being a +17tp against the manager Mike Town on the show lawn, and the lowlight losing the B-class final to aforementioned Betts.
This however warranted a handicap change of 3 to 2.5, and a prize for highest handicapped player to complete a Triple Peel (with or without bisques).
