Good Win in First Ever GC High Handicap League Match

The first ever match for the club in the GC High Handicap league saw a narrow win against Kington Langley by 11.5 – 8.5. The match see-sawed between the two teams but with one round to go Bath only needed one win to succeed. The result was confirmed with wins for Richard Mills and Lorne Loxterkamp. Lorne Loxterkamp ended up winning three out of four singles matches, whilst Sue Andrew, Philip de Glanville and Richard Mills each won two singles matches. The team was completed by Clare Fletcher and Mike Nevett.
