Bath Federation team beat top of table Nailsea

This match was a must win one for Bath if they were to have any chance of retaining their South West Federation title.
The morning games put more pressure on Bath with Nailsea taking a 2-1 lead. However the match was tied at 2-2 with a win for Paul Francis which was quickly followed with victory for Bath’s debutant Philip De Glanville. Richard Jelly secured Bath’s win with a fourth win before Richard Stopforth rounded off a 5-2 win with an impressive finish to his game.
Bath host Taunton Deane on August 14th when a win gives them a chance of first place in their division, depending on other results.
