Honourable Draw for GC Central South Team against Camerton

A very competitive and close match. After 4 doubles and 4 singles in the morning, Camerton led 5-3 at lunch. In the first afternoon round, Bath won two matches and the other 2 were halved, to level the match at 6 all. From then on never more than one game separated the teams, and the last game went to Camerton to finish the match as an honourable draw. Thacher Alexander and Philip de Glanville were Bath’s most successful players, contributing 5 singles victories between them. For Camerton, Mal Vernau starred, unbeaten all day in one doubles and 4 singles games.
