A Second Win for B League Team

The B League team had another good day, beating Kington Langley by 5 matches to 2. And the two defeats were just minus one each.

The feature for Bath was the sparkling form of Nigel Dawson Cocks and Lorne Loxterkamp who won by an aggregate margin of 42 over three pairings. Captain Timothy Cantell won his morning singles but he and Peter Powell suffered narrow losses on the afternoon. Tony Curson and Nigel came out comfortable winners in the doubles.

The match was played in a good spirit despite the heat being a touch oppressive.

The next match is against at Llandaff at Bath on 16 June.
