GC Doubles Tournament

Sixteen club members took part in the GC Doubles tournament managed by Paul Francis. To discourage defensive play the scoring system accounted for hoops scored as well as wins. The tournament was won by Sue Andrew and new member Ally Hoyland who beat Brenda Gray and Richard Mills in the final. The plate competition was won by Miriam Bolger and Gill Clark, another new member. In the plate final they beat Ninette Flowerdew and Sue Ramsdale.
