Daniel Gott in Chairmans Salver

Daniel was selected by the CA to compete in the Chairmans Salver at Southport on 6-9 September. This is the second tier competition after the Presidents Cup and featured a number of the country’s top players. The format was to play each of the other seven players twice. The only players to beat Daniel twice were Sam Murray and James Hopgood who both ended up with 10 wins to finish first and second. Daniel finished in an excellent fourth place with 7 wins over Jonathon Powe (2), Robin Brown, Chris Williams (2), Robert Wilkinson and David Goacher (with an odd 5-0(t) score).
