First Match of Season for B League Team

The B league team had their first fixture away at Camerton & Peasedown on Wed 15th May. The Team was Tony Jackson (16), Leonie Wilkinson (16), Mike Henebury (18) and Gordon Cottis (20). The team played 2 x Doubles AM and 1 x Doubles and 2 x Singles PM. All games were played over 2.5 hours and all results were by Time.
In the morning Doubles the games were tight but we were beaten in both. Mike + Leonie lost 10-11; Tony and Gordon lost 11-13. In the afternoon Mike + Gordon won the doubles match 12-10. In the singles Tony won 23-11; but Leonie lost 9-14. The overall result was a victory for C&P 3-2.
