Advanced AC Team win at Home to Nailsea

In hot summer conditions, Bath entertained Nailsea in their last home game of the season. Pete Miles and Neil Pinker played the doubles in the morning, defeating the Pat Long and Libby Howard-Blood quite convincingly. In the morning singles Nailsea top player Robert Upton defeated an in form David Prescott to make it 1-1 at lunchtime. After a break to recover from the heat, the afternoon singles got underway. Pete Miles had very intermittent form and succumbed to Robert Upton narrowly on time. In the other two games David Prescott and Neil Pinker both playing very well, defeated their opponents with consummate ease. Final score was a win for Bath 3-2. Bath remain undefeated currently and a win in their final game at Exeter will lead to their promotion to Div 2.
