Charity Open Afternoon and Beginners Coaching Course

The club are holding their Charity Open Afternoon in aid of Dorothy House Hospice on Saturday 27 April 2019 at The Recreation Ground from 1pm to 4pm. This is a chance to learn about the game and take part in some friendly croquet related games. All equipment and coaching is provided, we only ask that you wear flat soled shoes. Refreshments will be available.
Also a 3 week Beginners course is being run starting on the morning of Saturday 4 May. The cost of the course is £30.

Season Long Internal Competitions 2018

Daniel Gott in Chairmans Salver

September 12th 2018

Daniel was selected by the CA to compete in the Chairmans Salver at Southport on 6-9 September. This is the second tier competition after the Presidents Cup and featured a number of the country’s top players. The format was to play each of the other seven players twice. Grass Roots Final

The club hosted the final of the CA Grass Roots Competition on Sunday 9th September. The 16 competitors had won their way through the preliminary rounds at their own clubs and included players from as far afield as Bury and Hunstanton. Secretary’s Shield Semi-Final

GC Progressive Doubles

Sixteen club members took part in the GC Progressive Doubles tournament on September 6th. The field was split into lower and higher handicap groups, the split being very high due to the lack of any low handicap players.
